Privacy Notice

The Data Protection Act 1998 was replaced on 25 May 2018 by the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). 

 

Changes to the regulations are reflected in the new privacy notices for pupils and staff.  These notices provide explanations of how pupil and staff data is used by school, Lancashire Local Authority (LA) and the Department for Education (DfE).

 

The notices also advise on how you access this data and how long we store it for.

Grange Primary School is registered as a Data Controller with the ICO, as required.  Our registration reference is Z4829600.

Use of Biometric Data

 

Schools are required to gain parental consent for processing pupil biometric data.

 

Grange Primary School does NOT access, collect or store any biometric data belonging to any of its pupils or staff.
